2009 Classical Fellowship Awards

 

Results of the Preliminary Round, held in Indianapolis February 7-10, 2008, are as follows:

 

Finalists:

 

Grace Fong, 29, graduate of Cleveland Institute of Music and University of Southern California; principal teachers include Sergei Babayan and John Perry; prize winner in the 2006 Leeds International Competition

 

Adam Golka, 20, graduate of TexasChristianUniversity; principal teacher since 2000 Jose Feghali; 2008 Gilmore Young Artist Award

 

Michael Kirkendoll, 29, graduate of University of Kansas and Manhattan School of Music; principal teachers include Phillip Kawin and Jack Winerock;

 

Igor Lovchinsky, 23, graduate of the JuilliardSchool; principal teacher Jerome Lowenthal; prize winner, Chopin Foundation of America

 

Elizabeth Joy Roe, 26, graduate of the Juilliard School; principal teacher Yoheved Kaplinsky; winner of the Juilliard Concerto Competition, Grand Prize, IBLA International Competition in Italy
