The Israeli violinist studied at the conservatory in Tel Aviv, then the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and finally the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music. Winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011, he has gone on to receive an Avery Fisher Career Grant and a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award.
