We start the new year with two of classical music’s Top Ten. We begin with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, nicknamed ”The Symphony of the Dance,” which is sure to get a balletic interpretation from our Maestro Rhodes, one of the world’s most sought-after ballet conductors. Then we welcome award-winning pianist Sean Chen, with the gargantuan Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3. Beloved since its premiere with Rachmaninoff and the New York Philharmonic in 1909, it became famous via the Oscar-winning film, “Shine.”
