The versatile American jazz pianist and composer Emmet Cohen is at the forefront of his generation's progress in music and related arts. In addition to his "Emmet Cohen Trio" project, Cohen has appeared regularly with, among others, Ron Carter, Benny Golson, Jimmy Cobb, George Coleman, Jimmy Heath, Tootie Heath, Houston Person, Kurt Elling, Billy Hart, Brian Lynch and Lea DeLaria. He is a member of Christian McBride's trio "Tip City" and acts as pianist and music director for jazz singer Veronica Swift. In recent years, Cohen was a member of the "Herlin Riley Quintet" and the "Ali Jackson Trio". He is simply a world-class jazz star and we are very happy that we managed to engage this artist in our club!!
