The program features Brahms’ blockbuster Third Symphony—an outburst of freedom and joy. 217 American Pianists Awards winner Drew Petersen joins concertmaster Stefani Matsuo for Brahms’ Scherzo movement from the collaborative F-A-E Sonata and then performs Andrew Norman’s enigmatic Suspend, which explores melodic fragments from both of Brahms' works.
