The 37th April Jazz Festival offers bright stars of jazz from around the world and a versatile selection of fresh Finnish jazz music, premieres and album release concerts. The concerts take place in Espoo Cultural Centre, and among others, Sello Hall in Leppävaara, EMMA Espoo Museum of Modern Art and G Livelab and Korjaamo Culture Factory in Helsinki. The official after party jam sessions take place at April Jazz Club, Original Sokos Hotel Tapiola Garden, from Wednesday to Saturday 26-29 April. Entry to the jam sessions is free of charge.

April Jazz is an annual jazz music festival held in Espoo, Finland at the end of April, organized since 1987. The event is produced by Espoo Big Band ry.

 

Sullivan Fortner is the winner of the 2015 American Pianists Awards.
